Schmicking uses aircraft grade 7020 aluminium and a hydroformed main frame combined with a post-fabrication 3 stage heat treatment process, ensuring maximum strength without sacrificing weight. Schmicking’s dedication to inclusive design means the bikes have no user weight limit, instead tubing profile and specification are chosen around individual riders and their requirements. All bikes are anodised as standard to make them most durable handcycles on the market.
The Schmicking Mountain Bike is ultra-adaptable with a ground clearance of 200mm and a 45 degree head angle which makes it ideal for anything from gentle forest paths to powering across mountainous terrain and everything in between. The Mountain Bike can be built in multiple configurations : Shimano or SRAM gearing, 26″, 650b or fat wheel sizes, electric assist, tetraplegic optimisation with optional easy transfer system and the long-seat or ergo-seat depending on the level of your mobility and core stability.
